Volkalak

Volkalak is a tabletop rpg about lesbian werewolves in the Slavic expanse. A group of three players represents the GM and the two playable characters, the Volkalak (werewolves, more or less) Kaz and Mira. Kaz and Mira are skilled sorcerers tasked with keeping their village safe from all manner of beasts and bandits that roam the countryside, doing so by transforming into huge wolves and fighting alongside one another, using pack strategy to fell even the most deadly of adversaries. All enemies, items, and magic blessings are based in Slavic folklore.

Mechanically, Volkalak is a rules lite system most equipped for pick-up and play boss-rush games, with a heavy emphasis on combat and lite, almost optional roleplaying elements. This game was created for Folklore Jam 2020.
